Living as your true, authentic self can be challenging. You may feel stuck, confused, or overwhelmed by life experiences. Together we can discover the motivations, tools, and skills which will allow you to be content, more-productive, and less anxious. In a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space, you and I can explore your patterns of thinking and feeling, and the meanings behind them. We will remove obstacles which get in your way. Client's often tell me that my warm, non-judgmental approach and careful listening help them to feel safe, freeing them to understand themselves in ways they've never considered.

I think of therapy as a way of freeing ourselves from the obstacles which prevent us from moving forward in our lives. Frequently these obstacles present themselves to us in the challenges of the outer world--in problems at work, in difficult relationships, in adapting to life changes, or in the sudden impact of a traumatic event. And sometimes what stands in the way of our freedom and happiness lies within us, as negative thought patterns, conflicting or confusing emotions, and unexpressed feelings--all of which can result in depression, anxiety, chronic illness, low self esteem--burdens we often carry alone.

Clients come to me when they feel stuck and need a nuanced, experienced approach to an issue in their lives. Most of my clients have post traumatic stress that stems from childhood experiences or neglect. Most of my clients also disclose that they struggle with one or many relationships in their lives. Many of my clients are immigrants, and seek a therapist who is sensitive to how cultural factors and (im)migration impact their ability to successfully connect with others.

Choosing to enter therapy can be an overwhelming decision. Finding and connecting with the right therapist plays a significant role in the healing process. I believe this healing is achieved through an authentic and collaborative therapist-client relationship and by providing a supportive, nonjudgmental environment in which clients feel safe to explore difficult issues. There are myriad reasons people enter therapy: for problems that have a direct correlation to a cause or for problems that are imprecise, but impact their quality of life.

Welcome. At various times in our lives we all end up feeling sad, angry, anxious, or lost. Sometimes we end up in unhealthy patterns: doubting our self-worth, obsessing about the past or the future, lashing out at others, or isolating ourselves. So many of our unhelpful behaviors protect us in the short-term, but leave long-term costs. I'm a clinical social worker and I provide help with these and other issues. The core of my training has been to meet you where you are--mentally and emotionally--and help you find effective techniques to overcome adversity, feel better, and move on with your life.

We all carry wounds which affect our inner well-being, our relationships, and our ability to engage with the world. By facing our pain and suffering with compassion, we have the power to transform it into strength. Often, we cannot do this alone. Therapy is a journeying together to discover your own capacity for resilience and strength and healing into your deeper, truer self. I cultivate therapeutic relationships built on deep trust and incorporate mindfulness, narrative awareness, strengths-based insight building, and cognitive restructuring, focusing from a spiritual perspective on what gives meaning, purpose, and connection.

Here we go again, another day of feeling overwhelmed, on edge, tense in your stomach, aches & pains in your body with intrusive, racing thoughts that feel like they have hijacked your brain. Are you frustrated that you can't seem to reach your goals and dreams in career or relationships despite your best efforts & intentions, like something is blocking you? Feel like you don't fit in, "too sensitive or overly emotional"? Do you absorb the energy around you? Do you want to help others with their pain, yet you neglect your own problems? You are at war with an invisible enemy, tired of watching life go by while you are missing out.

I am a mental health clinician who practices in both Maryland and Michigan. Treatment will vary just as our individual personalities vary. I am looking for clients who are unsure of what they want or need but are willing to explore. I am looking for clients who have goals but need help starting the journey. I am also looking for clients who know what they want, they have begun the work, but need more support. No matter the stage or phase of treatment, I am looking for clients willing to do the work.

The feedback I receive most from clients is that working with me is transformative, grounding, and more fun than they thought it would be. I've helped hundreds of folks achieve new levels of peace, freedom self-trust and sanity. For many years now, I have worked with clients who come in with depression, anxiety, self-doubt, grief, relationship strife, LGBTQ+ experiences, body hatred and food issues. Perhaps you're struggling with the despair that comes from living in the world in 2026! Our work together will be warm, powerful and deeply reparative.

I work with couples and individuals who feel stuck in painful cycles of disconnection, even when there's love underneath. You may be having the same arguments on repeat, feeling more like roommates than partners, or struggling with mismatched desire and unmet emotional needs. Often, one partner asks for more while the other feels overwhelmed or shuts down—not because they don't care, but because they feel lost about how to fix it. Whether you're coming in together or on your own, we work to understand the deeper patterns driving your relationship dynamics. My approach helps you slow down, make sense of what’s happening beneath.

We all suffer in life at different times in different ways for different reasons. Whether it be for a brief period, a season or a lifetime, we may find ourselves lost in the world, and mostly, to ourselves. While many individuals initially come to therapy to solve a problem in their outer lives, some discover that what they truly seek is a path home to themselves, to those they love, to the natural world and to the Mystery that is within and beyond all. A few come because they can no longer ignore their souls' need for depth and transformation.

I utilize several different supportive skills in sessions including mindfulness and transpersonal spiritual approaches that ease feelings of anxiety, trauma and depression.
I specialize in working with individuals in recovery from substance use, those who have faced personal loss in life or are struggling with life transitions and are seeking a place of peace. At the initial interview, we will jointly set treatment goals and determine the course to achieve those goals. In sessions, neuroscience informed skills are utilized to activate and heal emotional pain, examine obstructive thinking and barriers to growth, determine more supportive self choices, increase self and other awareness and to ultimately bring about greater presence, joy and calmness in life.

My ideal client is someone who is self-motivated to work through their hindrances with kindness, compassion and commitment. I work alongside clients to develop their awareness of behavioral patterns and use mindfulness-based CBT techniques to redirect repetitive and compulsive thought patterns. I particularly enjoy working with clients heal and recover from narcissistic abuse, which is rampant in our day and age.

I've served hundreds of people who care deeply about the world and others, but often feel anxious, fearful, dissociated, or dissatisfied with themselves, their relationships, and overall lives. This is often influenced by past trauma, painful relationship experiences, stress, and oppressive social forces. Folks often work through things with me they've hesitated exploring, such as childhood abuse, sexual assault, relational violence, complex grief, and non-ordinary state experiences. I am passionate about helping people heal the root of these challenges to reclaim their embodied, authentic sense of personal power and confidence.

Welcome! I am so glad you're here. We've all been through dark, soul crushing times and we have survived. Pause for a moment. Turn inward. Offer a quiet "thank you" to yourself and all the parts that have carried you here. That moment of gratitude marks the beginning of your healing journey. Breath with that. Therapy is not just about learning tools and coping skills, and it’s not just about debriefing from stressful moments. It’s about an inner evolution—one where your life will no longer be shaped by deficit, imbalance, and trauma. Instead it will be rooted in growth, resilience, and the emergence of your authentic

As a therapist, my clearest purpose is to help clients to alleviate debilitating symptoms of anxiety, depression and confusion. We do that in two major ways: one, finding the sources of the symptom and exploring the origins together and two, treating the symptoms with personally tailored, evidence-based interventions. As we participate in the treasure hunt of therapy, we battle pirates, feel the rain on our faces and build new structures for shelter along the way. Imagine building a map together where X marks the spot. What is your X? If you don't know, let's find out together.

Hi, I’m a compassionate and culturally responsive therapist offering therapy that is both grounded and depth-oriented. During sessions, I integrate the body, inner parts, dreams, and symbols to support meaningful change. I hold therapy as a space that honors personal healing within larger social and relational contexts.
