I’m here to help you reclaim your sense of self-worth and build a meaningful, empowered future—no matter the pain of your past.
Though the use of eccentric, out-of-the box and modern approaches to clinical treatment; I prompt individuals to explore the importance of repair work in the areas of boundaries, self esteem, self care, and shadow work to address the cause of their current emotions and functioning; leading to lasting emotional transformations and self improvements.

Have you been through painful or confusing experiences that still weigh on you? Do you struggle with self-doubt, people-pleasing, or feeling like you’re never quite “enough”? Maybe you're highly sensitive or emotionally aware, but often feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. Many of my clients are deep thinkers and feelers who need a safe, supportive space to process what they’ve been through and explore what’s next.

This lens has best supported folks navigating traumas, inner child wounds, identity, self-esteem, relationships, adoption, anxiety, depression, addiction, grief/loss, survivors of intimate partner or sexual violence.
Although it is a journey, you are worthy and capable of the healing you envision. I'm here to hold the mirror while you uncover the power within you and build a loving relationship with yourself. For many, a safe healing space is the first step in that journey back home to self. One that is full of grace while you become the next best version of yourself. My intention is to co-create the space you need to celebrate your inherent wisdom; to explore your existing stories & patterns; to integrate new ways of thinking & being; and to nurture the joys that bring more healing and ease into your life. And to reflect, you're heard and seen.

You are a high achiever, a founder, or creative who is feeling deeply disconnected. You might be feeling burned out, disconnected, or unsure of who you are in the midst of it all. Therapy with me isn’t about slapping on a band-aid or pushing toxic positivity. It’s about slowing down, asking deeper questions, and creating space for the version of you that is emerging. Whether you're navigating relationships, identity shifts, or just trying to feel like yourself again—I’m here to walk with you. My approach is rooted in attachment theory, dialectical behavioral therapy, and the belief that you decide what your healing looks like.

For over a decade, we've worked with adults in their 20s and 30s to help them overcome the emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges of young adulthood. We have a keen understanding of the demands on today's young adults to succeed academically, socially, and in the workplace. Our goal is to support you in developing necessary skills and resources as you pursue personal, career, and academic success. When work or school performance is a concern, our focus is on the intersection of mental health issues with these needs, two aspects of a person's life that are rarely addressed simultaneously or understood as interdependent.

We all feel stuck at times. I believe this experience can result from an unhelpful pattern developed over time, and in addition to feeling lost or unfulfilled, we may find ourselves having emotional or behavioral concerns. From a non-judgmental space, I offer a supportive environment to connect while we work together to uncover the patterns that may contribute to pain and problems in your daily life. It is my aim to help illuminate different ways of being so that you may experience less pain, more satisfaction, and a greater quality of life.

You keep finding yourself in the same cycle—same arguments, same self-doubt, same overwhelm—just in different situations. With your partner. At work. With family. Or maybe you carry it quietly: the way you downplay your needs, shrink in certain spaces, or question yourself. You tried changing how you talk, react, or open up—but nothing really shifts. And now you're wondering, Is it me? These patterns didn’t come out of nowhere. They were shaped by your experiences and relationships. I offer space to slow down, understand what’s underneath, and build the clarity and tools to feel more connected, more intentional, and like yourself.

Self Esteem Therapists

When should a person seek therapy for low self-esteem?

When self-esteem problems begin to disrupt the healthy daily functioning of an individual, it may be a good time to look into therapy. If a person finds that they are not engaging with friends for fear of being judged, not completing work assignments because they don’t think they’re capable, or not finding romantic love because they don’t feel they’re worthy of it, a therapist may be able to help.

What are the signs of low self-esteem?

Low self-esteem is a common issue that can affect a person's mental and emotional well-being. Some common signs of low self-esteem include negative self-talk, perfectionism, social anxiety, difficulty making decisions, an inability to set boundaries, people-pleasing, and others. A lack of belief in oneself or one’s abilities and a feeling of not being worthy or deserving underlie most of these characteristics.

What causes low self-esteem?

Feelings of low self-worth can begin in childhood or adulthood. Being raised by a highly critical parent or growing up feeling constant disapproval can stay with a person well into adulthood. Specific issues in adulthood may also be a cause of low self-esteem. An unhappy relationship, a dysfunctional work or school experience can impact a person’s feelings of self-worth.

How can therapy improve self-esteem?

Therapists can help identify negative thought patterns that keep the client stuck in a loop of destructive self-talk and develop coping skills to change the voice in their head. A therapist can help with goal-setting, so that clients are better able to stay on task and build confidence from successfully completing work they’re proud of. Coaching a client on how to better communicate can improve relationships. These skills can result in someone with low self-esteem feeling empowered and living with less fear.
