I work with young adults navigating the complexities of independence and attachment, trust and confidence, peer and sibling dynamics, dating and commitment, trauma, school and career transitions, sexual identity and intimacy, and overall well-being. Young adulthood is often a time of rapid growth and uncertainty, and therapy can provide space to make sense of these experiences with greater clarity and intention. I affirm and support clients who identify as BIPOC, AAPI, Latinx, LGBTQ+, and neurodivergent. Together, we identify and implement strategies to manage cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and relational patterns.

Welcome! Have you ever reached the point of thinking, “Okay, I’m self-aware… now what?” My work supports individuals at different stages of self-understanding. Some are beginning to explore their inner world and want to develop greater self-awareness, while others already have deep insight but feel stuck at the “what now?” stage. Many of my clients understand their patterns, emotions, and history, yet struggle to translate that awareness into meaningful change. I offer a supportive space to explore emotions and past experiences while also helping you move from understanding to intentional action.

Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or not quite like yourself? Maybe you're navigating a life change, dealing with anxiety or depression, feeling drained by relationships, or carrying the weight of past experiences. I work with individuals across the lifespan and gender identities, but I specialize in working with young adult women who are coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, codependency, and chronic illness. Most people I work with are doing well on paper — but still feel stuck.
You might be successful, driven, and capable, yet find yourself overthinking, doubting yourself, or feeling disconnected from your confidence and emotions. Maybe you’re tired of always being “the responsible one,” holding it together, or staying productive while something underneath feels unsettled.
I’m a warm psychologist with 12 years of experience, and I specialize in working with professionals who want to feel more secure in themselves and break patterns that keep them from living the life they want.

In my clinical work, I view the relationship between patient and therapist as central to treatment. The need for trust, privacy, safety, and non-judgmental acceptance is fundamental to the success of treatment. My theoretical orientation is psychodynamic or psychoanalytic, though I rely on an eclectic range of ideas for understanding each person. Patients experience my approach as insight-oriented, dynamic, and interactive.
When a person seeks therapy it is because something hurts - a broken relationship, past or present, or deep frustrations with the self - not being able to live up to one's ideals or accomplish goals.

Do you find it hard to close your laptop or turn off work notifications, even when the day is technically over? Does your body still feel buzzing with unused energy, like you are bracing for the next email or request? Even during downtime, it can feel difficult to truly relax or step out of work mode. Many of the women I work with feel pressure to stay constantly available, struggle to say no, and worry about being seen as incompetent or unreliable if they slow down. That fear of dropping the ball often leads to overworking, people pleasing, and emotional exhaustion, even when things are going well professionally.

Parents and caregivers often need support as they adapt to the changing needs of an infant or young child, while also paying attention to their own well-being. Teaching professionals may have questions and concerns during times of increased stress, unexpected, or frightening events. Too many stressors can result in overwhelming or extreme reactions in both young children and in adults. I provide therapy for parents and young children, and throughout the perinatal period. My interactive play activities, sensory strategies and guided communication improves positive connections, newskills for healing and resilience.

Life as a neurodivergent person can present its own unique challenges. There are so many barriers to accessing essential things like education, meaningful work, and genuine connection. Constantly adapting to environments that don’t meet your needs can take a toll on both your emotional and physical health. And if you’re also part of the queer community, these challenges can feel even more intense. It can lead to isolation and the sense that you’re going it alone.

I believe that it is impossible and unhelpful to keep politics out of the therapy room. The personal continues to be political and it has become increasingly clear to more people how politics directly impact mental health. While individual therapy is exactly that, we also live within larger systems that shape how we feel. When these systems are in a state of chaos and instability, feelings of helplessness, anxiety, exhaustion, anger, and guilt are all normal responses.

As one of the few certified sex therapists in the DMV area, with over 15 years of experience, I provide a safe, judgment-free space, often with light humor, to talk openly about sex, intimacy, and relationships. I work with individuals and couples navigating low sexual desire, mismatched desire, sexual anxiety, intimacy avoidance, sexual dysfunction, and questions around sexual or gender identity. Sex is often shaped by shame or silence; therapy offers a chance to untangle that. Whether you’re feeling disconnected from a partner or stuck in unfulfilling patterns, meaningful change is possible.
