My ideal client is someone—child, teen, or adult—who feels overwhelmed by emotions or experiences that have been difficult to manage alone. Many are navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, or patterns that keep them stuck. Some come to therapy after noticing changes in behavior, mood, or relationships; others simply feel “off” and want support making sense of it.
Clients often need a safe, steady space where their feelings are validated and their experiences are taken seriously. They may struggle to express what they’re going through, or they may have learned to hide their pain to keep moving forward

I am passionate about serving all women, specifically African American women in the District of Columbia. My approach is utilizing the lens of self-compassion to create an inner world that is more joyful, more accepting, and more conducive to growth and tranquility. I tailor my approach to each client, but my first step is always to inventory your strengths, goals, and dreams. Amplifying client strengths and grounding therapy in client values accelerates your healing. Next, we will explore the patterns and thoughts that align with your highest self and those that do not serve you in this phase of your life.
