Life doesn’t come with a manual, and sometimes, transitions, trauma, or everyday stress leave you feeling stuck, anxious, or overwhelmed.
Therapy should feel like a safe, empowering space where you feel heard, valued, and supported. I take a collaborative, strengths-based approach tailored to your unique needs. Using DBT and trauma-informed techniques, I help clients manage stress, regulate emotions, and navigate challenges with clarity and confidence.

Developed over years of experience in both private practice and non-profit institutions, I employ an eclectic mix of approaches including humanistic, cognitive behavioral and coaching.
Choosing the right therapist is essential. Not only are training and educational experience important to consider, but so too are the clinician's personal qualities. Therapy works best when people feel safe, cared for, and understood.

I have 35 years as a college educated professional in coaching, mentoring, motivating individuals, corporate professionals, aspiring artists, persons undergoing significant life changes, various challenges, assorted obstacles, and difficult transitions (ie. like losing a loved one, changing careers, etc).
We all need a little help sometimes, especially when it comes to journeys of self-discovery. Whether your goal is to be more confident or to find fulfillment in a passion project, it can be pretty tough to figure out how to get from point A (identifying a goal) to point B (actually going after and achieving that goal). That’s where a life coach comes in.

Whether it’s an addiction or just a bad habit for you, my method is clear, practical, and built for real life.
If you’re silently struggling with porn addiction, you already know the emotional toll: shame, secrecy, and the frustration of breaking promises to yourself. Whether it’s Pornhub, OnlyFans, cam sites, or endless scrolling, your partner may feel hurt and disconnected. You’re likely overwhelmed by guilt and stuck in patterns you swore you’d quit. Even if you’re not in a relationship, porn may still be affecting your confidence, focus, or ability to connect. It doesn’t have to stay this way. I help men who feel stuck in this cycle break free from compulsive porn use and rebuild intimacy without shame or judgment.

Life Coaching Therapists

What can I expect from life coaching?

Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.

Can a life coach help treat anxiety?

Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.

Can life coaching be done online?

Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.

How long does life coaching last?

Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
