Are you grappling with intense emotions or painful memories, navigating life transitions, or seeking a space for open conversation and self-discovery? Do you experience anxiety, tension, or overwhelm, or wonder why you feel irritable, tearful, or unable to enjoy your usual activities? In times of stress, people often withdraw, avoid, or adopt other unhealthy habits, only to find it makes them feel worse. You probably long for more effective ways to cope, handle your emotions, and work towards a healthier, more fulfilling life.

My adult and teen clients gain the ability to understand and use strategies to limit self-incrimination, break down overwhelming tasks into small, actionable steps; tolerate emotional discomfort without acting on compulsions or seeking reassurance; challenge negative beliefs that cause distress; interrupt rumination and replace it with productive thinking. These long-term and short term strategies have been helpful to diverse individuals, living with major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, trauma related disorders, mood disorders, including bipolar disorder, ADHD, autism, spectrum disorder, and OCD tendencies.

I provide a supportive, compassionate space to explore, understand and address distress and mental health disorders related to life transitions, strengthening relationships, regulating emotions, or developing greater self-compassion. Life transitions, stress, and uncertainty can feel overwhelming, especially when paired with anxiety, ADHD, or self-esteem challenges are my clinical interest. I tailor each session to meet your unique needs, drawing from approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, psychodynamic and interpersonal work, motivational interviewing, and multicultural perspectives.

I provide counseling to teens and adults with difficult upbringings including unmet needs or bullying that affects platonic and romantic relationships. We'll also work through navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, identity concerns, and life transitions. I assess and treat PTSD, generalized anxiety disorder, OCD tendencies, autism, and ADHD, as well as those struggling with emotional regulation and compulsive behaviors, including substance use and problematic social media use. I support and challenge clients—helping them feel seen while also encouraging growth, clarity, and meaningful change.

I have a particular interest in working with individuals and couples struggling with recurring patterns of infidelity, emotional disengagement, and chronic dissatisfaction in relationships. My work is centered on helping individuals and couples understand and change relational patterns that seem to repeat across generations. Many of the people I work with find themselves recreating aspects of their parents' relationships—or the broader dynamics of their family of origin—in their own intimate partnerships, often despite a conscious desire to do something different.
