In my practice, I combine basic talk therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy combined with Schema Therapy and Mindfulness to help you find solutions in the present moment.
Are you feeling stuck in life, unable to move forward and grow? Life can sometimes feel out of control, leading to feelings of anxiety, depression, anger, frustration, loneliness, isolation, and boredom. These emotions can lead to unhealthy coping mechanisms such as drug or alcohol abuse, excessive spending, or other destructive behaviors. My approach focuses on helping clients regain control and develop healthy coping skills. I work with young adults, adults and couples, specializing in LGBTQ issues, substance abuse and co-occurring disorders, trauma, and mood disorders.

I practice CBT, primarily, and believe you are the driver of your own life.
Accepting new clients via Telehealth. I strongly believe everyone deserves access to support in their own way, in their own time. I am a provider who encourages clients to address their concerns and heal in a supportive space. Starting or returning to therapy is brave, and I admire your choice to be here. Sometimes the thing we need most is to be heard, and I am honored that you might choose me to listen.

We all use mindfulness based approaches, and somatic experiencing in addition to CBT and other traditional approaches.
Are you grappling with intense emotions or painful memories, navigating life transitions, or seeking a space for open conversation and self-discovery? Do you experience anxiety, tension, or overwhelm, or wonder why you feel irritable, tearful, or unable to enjoy your usual activities? In times of stress, people often withdraw, avoid, or adopt other unhealthy habits, only to find it makes them feel worse. You probably long for more effective ways to cope, handle your emotions, and work towards a healthier, more fulfilling life.

I use cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, mindfulness, and yoga.
Losing a loved one can be the most difficult time in your life. Emotions are often surprising in their strength or mildness. Grief often breaks a person completely from the inside out. Grieving is hard work; you can get worn out and feel battered. It can take a lot longer to work through grief than most people realize. People around you may think it’s helpful for you to not talk or cry or focus on your loss but actually, this is just what people need to do. The goal is to not stay stuck, to move through it—and this is part of the process. Find wholeness through trauma informed talk therapy, yoga, mindfulness.

I integrate evidence-based cognitive and behavioral techniques ( CBT) and mind-body approaches (EMDR, Brainspotting, and mindfulness) to address not only symptoms but also the core of why this event stayed with you.
Finding a therapist can be tough. Perhaps you feel overwhelmed. Maybe life has thrown more at you than you think you can handle, or your usual coping strategies are failing. Using humor and a collaborative approach, we can tackle these challenges together. Drawing on your own innate resilience and capacity to change, I hope to give confidence to the belief that change is possible and that you can feel better.

I use a combination of cognitive behavioral tools to understand the language we use in our relationships and our past family interactions which guide us toward a workable and balanced way of living in partnership with others .
I specialize in working dynamically with couples and families searching to find ways to better communicate and to learn ways to grow creatively . My book, Dance and The Creative Couple, is a strong indication of how I listen to a couple or families physicality and their language to hear what is often unsaid .

I have had comprehensive training in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavior therapy ( CBT), and humanistic, interpersonal, and psychodynamic theories.
Therapy helps us cope more effectively with challenges and encourages growth even in difficult circumstances. I strive to be genuine and authentic in sessions, incorporating humor and warmth to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and respectful space for support. Together, we will explore your ways of thinking in order to facilitate insight into your experience and gain new skills and strategies to create long-lasting, positive change in your life.
