I provide therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.
I believe deeply in the power of a positive and genuine therapeutic relationship, and my style is warm, validating, and non-judgmental. I combine this with concrete, evidence-based therapeutic techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills, and mindfulness/acceptance.

I work with individuals who want to better understand themselves and work towards change. Whether you are working through the impact of trauma, or deepen your awareness of yourself, I offer a warm and collaborative space where we can do this work together. I also work with romantic partners who want to work towards a specific goal in their relationship. This could be making a particular decision, exploring matters of intimacy, or resolving an ongoing conflict. I also particularly enjoy working with athletes experiencing mental blocks or performance related anxiety.

Welcome! By visiting my page, you're already one step closer to building a life that you love. I work best with clients (mostly in the early to middle adulthood age range) who feel anxious, depressed, inferior, out-of-balance, insecure, defensive, weak, traumatized, overwhelmed, defeated and/or maladjusted; as well as those who simply just want to develop insight into their own psychological world. I will help you to identify and process root wounds and sources of suffering in order to help you not only heal and bounce back, but to actually bounce forward, in your life. Expect to move towards healing, balance, and optimal wellness.

I'm a clinical psychologist who specializes in working with high-functioning adults and older teens (16+) whose inner lives don't match the competence they show the world.
My approach is collaborative and evidence-based, drawing on cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety and depression, exposure therapy for OCD and trauma, and targeted work with perfectionism. I also bring an active research background to this work, which informs how I think about what keeps people stuck and what actually moves them forward.

I have clinical experience working with teens, adults, and couples.
The current climate of our society has been a stressful and enduring situation for people which has lead to or uncovered trauma, anxiety, or other overwhelming thoughts. It can be difficult to navigate these mental health stressors by ourselves or even with the support of friends and family. This is why reaching out for professional support can be impactful as you are able to discuss stressors in an empathic space and gain healthy coping skills.

No matter your past or present, your haves or have-nots, life can be difficult. We believe that people need to be understood – to feel validated and acknowledged for who they are, what they're good at, and how they may struggle. Without these moments of understanding, life can feel mundane, lonely, or deeply confusing. At the most troubling times, when stress, depression, or relationships overwhelm, change can seem impossible. Yet change is made possible through a trusting therapeutic relationship and a careful understanding of oneself and others.

Pet loss can be just as (if not more) devastating than losing a human family member or friend. The bond you share with your beloved animal may be one of the deepest, most unconditionally loving relationships of your life. Losing that connection can feel like you are untethered and lost. Unlike with human loss, society often fails to acknowledge the depth of grief that follows the death of a pet. There’s little space given to mourn, and even less support. But pet loss grief is real. It’s profound. It’s scientifically recognized. And it deserves to be taken seriously.

If your mind feels like it’s always “on,” you’re overthinking everything, or you can’t seem to fully relax—you’re not alone in that. A lot of the people I work with are used to holding it all together on the outside, while internally feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or unsure of themselves. You might find yourself replaying conversations, worrying about what could go wrong, or feeling stuck in patterns that are hard to break, even when you know better. I specialize in working with anxiety in its many forms—Together, we’ll slow things down and make sense of what’s actually going on, so your thoughts don’t feel so loud and consuming.

Beginning therapy can feel like a big step, but it’s often the first toward meaningful insight and lasting personal growth. We understand that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process. Our approach is tailored to you—whether you’re working through past experiences, navigating present challenges, or seeking greater balance in your life. You don’t have to do it alone. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment where you feel comfortable sharing openly and working toward change.
