People come to me when they are seeking meaningful change. Perhaps you're struggling with intense feelings or sensations - anxiety, fear, anger or grief. Maybe too, the ways that you've learned to (emotionally) survive - overworking, performing, people pleasing, numbing, etc - cause even further distress. I work with people in collaborative, flexible and creative ways to facilitate a unique, individualized process that opens the potential for something new.
This "something new" isn't magic - it is the outcome of developing the ability to understand your inner capacities, what has inhibited you, what your intense or repetitive inner world is trying to say or resolve, and of a growing sense of safety inside - through the development of a secure therapeutic relationship.

Transforming Trauma: Brain, Body, Art and Soul is a therapy experience that explores somatic awareness and trauma processing through imagination and creativity to support integration of frozen shock, sensation and sensorimotor defensive postures and patterns. Participants will engage in 4 individual Deep Brain Reorienting sessions (a cutting edge neuroscience PET scan based trauma treatment) and 4 small group reflection sessions. Participants will use simple creative materials of their choice (writing, drawing, painting, etc) to express and transform what emerges. Creative projects do not need to be shared with the group.
