It can feel like the sky is falling. There is more confusion, fear, and uncertainty than ever before. This can be debilitating as we struggle to get out of bed, our work performance suffers and then we find ourselves alone and isolated not knowing how to get back to our previous “normal”. We are constantly overstimulated, told what we ought to be, as we become lost with no way to cope. Talk Therapy combined with a safe place to feel heard and understood can guide us to make sense of it all and progress to a higher state of functioning.
I currently offer Telehealth therapy to adult residents of California, using a Client-Centered Approach. I draw from both my professional and personal experience. Meaning, that I too am on a journey and know firsthand the difficulties of being understood while also not allowing myself to formulate a bias from this lens.
Being a helper has been a passion of mine and I find nothing more exciting than collaborating with people to find healing. Together we can find meaning and acceptance of feelings of depression, anxiety, occupational stress, and emotional pain that we may struggle to put into words. The highest calling we have is to be of service.
