Dawn received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Temple University and her graduate degree and post-graduate training from the University of Pennsylvania and the Institute for Comprehensive Family Therapy. In her over 35 years of practice Dawn has developed several areas of expertise. They include marital/family therapy, eating disorders, issues specific to adolescence, anxiety disorders, sexual abuse, co-parent and reconciliation counseling.
Dawn's approach is grounded in psychoanalytic theory practiced within a family systems framework. Central to her approach is the development of a strong therapeutic bond. It is her philosophy that this bond is an essential component of creating a supportive environment that empowers clients to achieve their goals.
