I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) in California. I have been working as a therapist for 13 years. In my work, I am fortunate to have worked with both children and adults struggling in childhood abuse, traumatic experiences, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, and mood disorders. In addition, I work with adults with Substance Abuse Disorder, caregivers caring for a mentally ill loved one, functional life skills, relationship issues, and parenting.
My theoretical approaches are evidenced based practices which include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to decrease high anxiety and manage moods that interfere in the daily function, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to manage difficult events in your day that create mental chaos from traumatic experiences.
There are more and more Americans dealing with mental illness symptoms, according to USA Facts. In our global downslide, people cannot afford the mental health care they deserve to obtain their optimal health. The goal of Road to Wellness provides individuals with effective outpatient, individualized, psychotherapy at an affordable price

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

There is evidence that DBT can be useful in treating mood disorders, suicidal ideation, and for change in behavioral patterns such as self-harm, and substance abuse.
