I take quite seriously. I have always been the person others can confide in and know there is not a risk of judgment. I come to this field with 25+ years of experience in human services across multiple settings. I founded Sunrise Promise Therapy and we do therapy and medication management. I have worked with people who struggle with anxiety, mood disorders, self-harm, anger, and chronic illness. I am sex positive, kink allied, and an ally.
I completed my two Bachelor degrees and my Masters in Counseling from Upper Iowa. I am trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and crisis management.
