I have been a therapist for 38 years now. My role is not to give people answers, but to help them find their own. And probably to help people understand themselves better so they can make decisions that feel right for them. Often together we are able to identify things that may get in the way of them making forward progress.
I am an ex high school English teacher and basketball coach. I grew up with a cottage on Lake Michigan, which I inherited and still treasure today. I love walks on the beach, beautiful sunsets, reading a good book, playing a round of golf, and having deep conversations with people. I've had my own challenges, which include being a cancer survivor.
