For many years I have enjoyed working with adults of diverse backgrounds and sexual orientations, who are seeking to establish or improve relationships in their lives. I am a licensed clinician with over 20 years in the field, functioning in various capacities. I have been in private practice since 1996.
My areas of interest include depression, anxiety (including PTSD) , stress/anger management, and addressing challenges related specifically to personal/professional relationships. My approach to treatment is outcomes oriented. Clients will be able to review progress and use enhanced coping skills and self awareness to prevent setbacks.
I have training in Emotionally Focused Therapy and Internal Family Systems, cutting edge models that have proven to be highly effective in working with couples and treating individuals suffering from depression, anxiety and PTSD respectively. I have worked for many years with law enforcement personnel and with military staff returning from combat.
