As a Christian in my 40s with over 18 years of clinical experience in Marriage and Family Therapy, I view life as a journey filled with learning opportunities characterized by twists and turns. These experiences can either trap us in a cage or empower us to reach new levels of growth. This journey requires courage—the choice to remain on a familiar path or to embrace the adventure of change. Christian counseling offers tools, support, and, most importantly, empowerment for this adventure. Over the years, I have come alongside a wide variety of clients in therapeutic work, ranging in age from adolescence to geriatric, undertaking concerns such as depression, anxiety, panic, trauma/PTSD, mood disorders, grief, addictions, relational problems, and the difficult transitions of life.
To achieve this, I draw from solid biblical and clinical foundations, including trauma-informed systemic thinking and various practical skills from CBT, DBT, and solution-focused models, all viewed through the lens of Attachment Theory and Internal Family Systems. Together, we can explore options to help you take the next steps toward well-being.
