One of the most important aspects in therapy is for a person to feel heard, to be respected, and to be understood. Each individual is unique and therefore no one issue is ever the same among different people. I utilize an integrative approach to meet the needs of the person, not the "problem". Trust is paramount in the therapeutic setting and I strive to create a safe and empathetic environment to facilitate growth.
In my practice I work with adolescents, young adults, adults and couples in individual therapy and group therapy. One of my passions is working with teenagers/young adults and their families. My aim is to assist and to support them through their struggles and to look for ways to help them see their own potential.
Another focus of my practice is working to reduce a person's anxiety through mindfulness, relaxation, and CBT therapy. Exploration of different approaches and techniques empowers individuals to find what works best for them. I am passionate about helping people feel better about themselves, empowering them to make healthier choices, and building a brighter future.
