I specialize in eating disorders, life stage transitions, anxiety, perfectionism, career transitions, and relationship issues. Since I am licensed in TX and CA and provide virtual sessions I can see clients living in either state or those spending time in both. I have been licensed and in practice for over 25 years. I offer a safe, professional, non-judgmental environment and believe effective therapy is a collaborative effort by both the therapist and client. Whether it's short term therapy for adjustment or life stage issues, or longer term therapy for more persistent or complex issues, counseling can have a positive impact.
I have worked with a wide variety of clients and currently see young adults, adults. I enjoy working with adult clients across all life stages and especially understand the challenges associated with life stage transitions, relocation, professional careers, parenting and relationships with adult children.
Counseling can be a very rewarding process that leads to lasting positive change. I believe a good therapeutic connection and safe environment are key as clients learn new strategies, gain new perspectives, and connect to their own inner strengths.
