About
Life transitions bring new opportunities for personal growth, communication development, and emotional connectedness. Therapy can be the key to increasing insight into relationships you have with yourself and others. With couples and families, my approach is to strengthen the bond by focusing on effective communication methods, attachment styles, and understanding the needs of the relationship.
As a socioculturally attuned clinician, I specialize in treating trauma, grief, depression, communication breakdowns, chronic stress, and low self esteem. I help my clients strengthen communication skills, improve emotional health, learn effective coping mechanisms, develop self actualization, and increase personal empowerment.
I take an integrative and relational approach to healing to understand who you are as a whole person by understanding your past experiences, motives, and what in life has given you the opportunity to build resilience. I bring warmth, support and non-judgmental presence into my sessions and honor the mind-body connection.
