Therapy can be hard. I like to inject as much compassion, humor, and happiness as I can into the therapeutic process as we resolve many of life's challenges. I am an expert therapist with over 15 years of experience. I specializes in trauma, all addictions, PTSD, anxiety, sex therapy, couples and marriage counseling, parent counseling, ADHD, Spirituality, and Careers; but I can also be of service in many other areas. Goals are set by my clients. I am happy to offer feedback if asked; but you are in the driver seat. I may question you at times in an effort to facilitate greater understanding; but I will never tell someone what to do.
I am most comfortable serving those who come ready to grow, heal, change, learn, and achieve more of their ideal self - people desiring a change. This typically applies to adults; but I have also been successful helping children as young as 8 years old. I also ask a lot of questions. : )
My default is always kindness. However, I can also cater my communication styles to the needs of my clients: I can be extremely quick or slow, direct or indirect, emotional or stoic, compassionate or hardnosed. I allow my clients to guide this via me asking questions and mirroring their overall mood.
