If you'd like a more interactive therapist, I can help. I offer a holistic perspective and alternative therapy approaches focused on how our body can help us heal from trauma. Understanding yourself in depth is an important first step when you're feeling stuck in your relationships or with personal growth. From there, we can work together to figure out what changes you need to make for yourself, developing a path to cultivating meaning in your life and experiencing more joy.
My training is rooted in over a decade spent as a wilderness therapy guide, and my experiences in adventure therapy work. Living in small groups taught me about what it really means to be human. This perspective is beneficial to my client's relationships, developing self-care habits, and understanding how creating meaning guards us from mental health issues.
I think it's important that you understand why I do this work. My family has a lot of intergenerational trauma - war refugees, parental abandonment, sexual trauma, addiction, & suicide. My first step in becoming a therapist was learning how to deal with my own anxiety and depression. I want to share the knowledge I have so that you can help yourself heal.
