About
Traumatic experiences can and will affect us in a variety of ways. Loneliness, negativity, and our reactions can severely impact our mental health. Ironically, it is often easier to push away people than deal with difficult feelings. We choose this path by abusing substances, alcohol, and other types of addictions. When we run away from our feelings and challenges, we are not allowing ourselves to heal and recover. Essentislly, we are hurting ourselves and others. Together we can work through these difficult experiences and navigate around the painful emotions to feel better and find joy again.
My specialties include working with adolescents and adults suffering from addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, self-esteem, stress, and much more. Though I apply Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, no two clients are alike; therefore, each client receives a personalized treatment plan based on specified needs and goals.
When we build conversations and images of how things "should be" in our minds, we create anxiety and it is painful. You are not alone in how you feel.
