I am ready and willing to work with anyone who feels that they might need help regaining daily life functioning skills, coping with anxiety and depression, social and professional development, weight-loss coaching, parental coaching, and any other issues that may arise as we work together. The populations I served have primarily been older adolescents and young adults. Along with that, I have experience with children as young as nine years old and older adults. I have a strong interest in sports and performance psychology, but I am not limited to that particular practice area.
My therapeutic style is a friendly, conversational style that is an integration of solution-based, cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic modalities to really engage with you to understand why something occurs now, and the roots of these currently maintained issues, in order to better resolve them in the future.
Sometimes people can be hesitant to start therapy because they feel like it's a long commitment or have a stigma surrounding mental health.
