Seeking out a therapist can be a daunting task, especially if you don't have a clear understanding of what to expect, or even why you are looking. Often, we find ourselves saying out loud "I really should get a therapist" almost on impulse when things feel, well, off. Then, we get a little further along and we decide "actually, I think I'm good". Other times, someone in our life has told us we should get therapy, and we have decided to finally give it a go. Together, we will begin to identify patterns, learn to interact in new ways, and improve the quality of our lives both when we feel disrupted and when we feel in control.

I utilize an existential approach, meaning we work with what we are experiencing in the moment, even if that is "I really don't know why I'm here". We'll look for areas to derive motivation, we will address flaws in our thought patterns, and we'll move forward with an actionable plan. In all of that, we'll still laugh and enjoy what life brings.
