Please follow the link to my website for more information on my practice. I draw on 19 years of experience as a psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, researcher, and professor. I work with adults and adolescents to treat depression, anxiety, trauma, anger, academic and work problems, complex relationship and family dynamics, personality patterns, and concerns around sexuality and gender. I work with people of all genders, LGBTQ+ people, and have particular expertise with straight and queer men. I aim to learn about clients on their own terms. My approach is highly individualized, nonjudgmental, honest, and relationally engaged.
I meet with clients once or twice per week, taking a depth-oriented approach to support moving beyond older protective patterns and symptoms that have become obstacles. I work with creative and analytic people who want to understand themselves and their relationships with greater flexibility and purpose and build openness to learning, connection, and change.
Starting psychotherapy can feel both daunting and exciting. I am committed to working at your pace and will approach your concerns and goals with careful thought, respect, and candor.
