My name is David Rosenblatt, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Chicago Illinois and working with clients in the Chicagoland area both in person and telehealth. I work with adults and older adults and specialize in depression, anxiety, and trauma, using Eye Movement Desensitization (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative to help my clients feel better about themselves and function better.
My client population is adults and older adults with depression, anxiety, and trauma with various diagnoses. I help my clients understand the causes of their symptoms and suggest ways to reduce and suggest ways to reduce or alleviate them. I try to help them establish goals for themselves and ways to achieve them.
My communication style is compassionate, sympathetic, empathetic, and nonjudgmental. I want to establish rapport ( therapeutic relationship) with my client so there is mutual trust and respect between us.
