Worried sick, scared to death, worn ragged… And the sleepless nights aren’t helping. You probably just don’t understand where all this reckless behavior is coming from. You used to have such a wonderful relationship. Now it seems your kid has gone off the rails for no reason at all—at least not one they’ll talk about. The teen years were supposed to be challenging… but this? Maybe you don’t even know what to do with this behavior… wondering where you went wrong and how you got to this place. It’s difficult to see the problem in the middle of the chaos… Ran out of ideas? Tried everything you can think of? At your wits’ end? I get it.

Know that this isn’t your fault… you love your kid and you just want the best for them. But adolescence can be perplexing. Most parents expect a certain level of difficulty as teens find their way. However, when the behaviors escalate… or turn risky or dangerous… you worry even more. Are they angry, isolating, grades slipping? It’s time to seek counseling.

The good news is, you’ve come to the right place… your teenager is not a surprise to me. I’ve spent years working with kids who push limits, escape boundaries, and have difficulty understanding the impact of their choices. I am able to find the roots of the problem and help them find a place of balance where they can begin to understand their own behaviors.

Blended Family Counseling

Blending families can be difficult, to say the least. The blending process comes with such unique challenges that are often overlooked in the process of coming together as a new family system. My wife and I are 11 years into the blending process and understand first-hand what this is like. When you contact me, ask about our blended family counseling. Let me walk with you and support you in this process. We are here, because you (and your family) matter.
