My goal as a counselor is to create a supportive environment in which the clients can explore their emotional needs and overcome barriers that limit their full potential. I take an open-minded approach to client wellness and consider the client's work life, family traditions, cultural and spiritual beliefs, and sexual identity. I offer counseling sessions for individuals, couples, and families in the following areas; Depression and Sadness, Codependency, Anger Management, Anxiety and Stress Communication issues, Arguments, Trust issues, Loneliness, Emotional intimacy, and Self-esteem issues
My clinical interests include anger management, stress management, anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions. I believe understanding one's challenges and roadblocks open the door to new attitudes as well as interest in changing our behaviors. I work with adults, adolescents, and elders.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Shippensburg University and Master of Social Work from Temple University. I am a conversational therapist. This interactive approach creates a partnership with the client necessary for development of goals, healthy boundaries, and empowerment of the client for change.
