I am a client-centered therapist, using Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, in a safe, compassionate space.

Surviving Profound Post Traumatic Stress

I am forming a new group counseling focused on profound clinical trauma and loss, and post-traumatic stress (PTS). As soon as I have 6 members we will begin to meet one evening a week, adding new members as we move forward. We will discuss and learn how profound trauma and loss affects every aspect of who we are and we will learn coping and emotion management skills to manage the emotions and behaviors associated with PTS. We offer a safe environment, without judgement.

This group will focus on the impact and aftermath of profound loss and the skills and steps that need to be taken to heal and move forward with your life. Remember - there is no "getting over" your loss, but you will learn how to work through your pain and learn to live as fully as possible. This group will be led by a licensed counselor who is also a peer suffering deeply profound grief. We will begin as soon as we have 6 participants. If you are hesitant to some alone, bring a friend and supporter.
