I am David Joel Miller, licensed in California as a Marriage And Family Therapist 45390 and as a Professional Clinical Counselor. I work with clients to overcome the problems of living and create the best life possible regardless of the circumstances they find themselves in. I emphasize overcoming anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, achieving work-life balance, and eventually dealing with the challenges of aging.
My primary focus is working with adult clients to achieve emotional balance, overcome anxiety, depression, or substance misuse, to cope with work stress, and balance relationships and family responsibilities.
There are two primary things I ask clients in the first session. What brought them to counseling? How were they hoping that the process of working with me might help them? Part of our time in the first session will be spent getting all the basic information about you and creating a plan for our work together.
