For over 40 years, Drs David and Dr. Margie McKeon have practiced in Texas as counselors who specialize working with the couples. Learning from their professional training and 40 +-year marriage, they help partners create harmonious and thriving relationships. The McKeons received their doctorial degrees in Marriage and Family Counseling form Texas A&M University, Commerce where Dr. David also taught on faculty and directed the internship for doctorial students. They trained extensively with Dr. Harville Hendrix, founder Imago Relationship Therapy and author of the best-selling book "Getting the Love You Want."
The McKeon's are Certified Imago Therapists who conducted the "Getting the Love You Want" workshop. They are Past Co-Presidents of the Association of Imago Relationship Therapy, and David is Past President of the Texas Association for Marriage and Family Therapists. Extended Couple sessions also available. They live in Hedwig Village/Houston area.
As people of faith, the McKeon's believe that the sacred space of relationship is a place of emotional safety where partners can help each other heal and grow. In coaching sessions, couples are taught the skills that are needed to release the healing power that can restore and enliven relationships. In-person and virtual sessions available.
