About
Why are you seeking a therapist? Gaining an understanding of your needs is the first step we take together to develop your personal therapy. Yes, you read that right. I encourage my clients to be active participants in the development of their therapy. What is effective for one person is not necessarily effective for another. The strength of my therapeutic approach is in its transparency and my focus on guiding and empowering you, the client, in becoming an agent of change in your own life.
What kind of therapist do you want? An important question. I bring a diverse vision of interpersonal communication dynamics and cognitive/emotional centered problem solving to our therapy. From a foundation of empathy and compassion, my therapeutic process is solution focused, collaborative and direct.
I enable a safe and honest therapy experience with an emphasis on cognitive deconstruction/reconstruction for the purpose of healing, development of intentionality and mindfulness, life management and effective, non-violent communication skills. I treat couples and individuals ages 15 years and older.
