My approach is grounded in contemporary psychoanalytic psychotherapy with individuals and families. By creating a space for depth, openness, and exploration, we can understand how the present moment and early relationships shape a sense of self and underlying emotional patterns. Within this therapeutic space, we have a chance for new experiences, transformation, self-understanding, and meaningful change. I work with children, adolescents, and families from a variety of backgrounds, drawing on developmental theories to support inner growth, deepen self-awareness, cultivate self-knowledge, and increase resilience.
My clinical training, research, attentive listening, and honesty form the foundation for understanding symptoms, engaging overwhelming experiences, and expanding one’s capacity for connection. My interests and expertise include treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and addictions. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and parents in private practice.
Recognizing the depth and complexity of psychotherapy, I am committed to supporting you and working together so we may achieve the change you seek. In addition to my clinical experience, I am currently a candidate at the Chicago Center for Psychoanalysis and hold a certificate in Child/Adolescent Psychotherapy from the Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis.
