I have experience working with individuals who may find it difficult to manage their anger, leading to feelings of loneliness and irritability or encountering difficulty in relationships due to outbursts of anger. Many people come to me when the day-to-day demands placed on them become overwhelming, and they feel like they’ve lost their sense of balance, passion, energy or motivation. Others’ convey difficulty relaxing, sleeping, or being emotionally present in their personal lives. I am passionate about working with people who are feeling stressed out, whether it’s related to : school, work, relationships, parenting, or family.
I typically work from a two-fold approach. First, we’ll look at the most pressing issues, helping you manage intense emotions in the moment. Once you have some concrete coping strategies and feel more emotionally present, we’ll start to explore the possible underlying causes. The goal is to increase awareness of triggers and identify alternative approaches.
My main focus is to provide hope, in whatever form that takes for you, that tomorrow will be better than today. In this uneasy and challenging time, my hope is to help you prioritize yourself for just one hour each week, allowing the other 167 hours of your week to feel less chaotic and more manageable.
