Oftentimes, our "closets" become full of grief, unhelpful messages, survival skills, and trauma; and, I believe that counseling offers people the time and space to sort through those experiences and to decide what is helpful and what is not. It's a simple process; but, it's not easy and going through the mess can be overwhelming and sometimes painful. I'd be glad to offer you that space and support so that you can learn to be more mindful, more compassionate, and more authentic both to yourself and to others.

As a clinician, I believe that growth and change happens best when you trust your counselor. While I can and will offer skills from DBT or help you work through trauma, I think it is unique gestalt of being heard, cared about, and challenged that ultimately helps us to move forward.

As a member of the queer community, I've struggled to find support and community. Counseling has helped me to grow into a better, braver, and more compassionate person. I'd like the opportunity to provide you with a place of safety that can serve as a springboard to grow, heal, and to form new relationships.

I work with clients working to unpack traumatic experiences whether that be something more traditionally considered traumatic or the stress of being a queer person. Our first sessions will be focused on developing trust and identifying what you want to get out of therapy.
