I have been a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) for over 20 years. I have had the opportunity to work with a wide array of clients struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, identity struggles, grief and loss, trauma, and interpersonal struggles. My ideal client carries a genuine curiosity about themselves and how they can work to live a life that corresponds with their values. Starting therapy can be a scary process. I appreciate working with clients who can embrace their vulnerability and incorporate a healthy sense of humor into their therapeutic journey. I truly enjoy building trusting collaborations.
My clinical work includes short-term therapeutic approaches (CBT, DBT) as well as those that are suited for long term exploration (Psychodynamic, Relational, Insight-Oriented). I encourage clients to develop awareness of their values and to explore ways that values can help enhance work, leisure, and relationships.
