People generally do not seek me out until they're feeling overwhelmed, confused, or have run out of answers and resources. I semi-retired on July 1, 2021, and now provide primarily tele-health services (phone, FaceTime or Zoom) Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
My role models were country physicians who lived and practiced all of their professional lives in one community. Being licensed now for forty-five years, what I can bring is quite a bit of experience. I mostly do individual therapy, but am well trained in couples and family therapy. I have expertise with all anxiety and depressive conditions and addictions.
I see therapy essentially as a warm, empathic, and genuine relationship between yourself and me. It is my job to build rapport with you and to understand your direction and goals. I am an eclectic therapist which means I do not adhere to specific, preplanned ways of working. I make treatment plans unique to you.
