As an adult male, I have personally needed other adult males to discuss my thoughts and share my feelings; however, I have often struggled to identify someone to regularly meet with. The times I have had the opportunity to engage in productive discussions with another man have proven to be extremely beneficial and often resulted in improved mental, emotional and spiritual health. As a Professional Therapist I would like to provide this same type of help to other males. I would best describe myself as a "wounded healer" who understands the needs and issues of males.
I have an understanding and experience addressing teenage boys and men who struggle with a lack of bonding with their father, identity issues, low self esteem/self image, poor relationships, anger, anxiety, depression and internet pornography.
I have worked as a Mental Health Therapist for over 30 years. My motto is "to meet people where they're at". I believe it is important to effectively counsel others at their own pace, help empower them to make better choices and improve the quality of their lives.
