I specialize in treating individuals who struggle with addiction issues, shame and vulnerability issues, and stress management. My ideal client is motivated for change, and is open to new, adaptive coping skills. The goal is to change automatic, self-defeating beliefs, while seeking progress instead of perfection.
My therapeutic approach is eclectic. I mostly use cognitive behavioral therapy to help my clients reframe any automatic, self-defeating beliefs. And I use motivational interviewing to help clients connect the dots between their goals, and what gets in the way of achieving those goals. Clients will learn tools to better deal with life on life's terms.
