Therapy should involve more than simply talking about what is wrong. I work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, insomnia, chronic pain, relationship difficulties, and other concerns that can leave them feeling stuck or disconnected from the life they want. My ideal client is willing to take an active role in therapy, consider new perspectives, and practice skills between sessions. Rather than assuming one approach is right for everyone, we'll work together to understand what is keeping you stuck, identify meaningful goals, and select a treatment approach that fits your needs and preferences.
I have advanced training in evidence-based approaches including ACT, CPT, Prolonged Exposure (PE), CBT-I, CBT for Chronic Pain, IPT for Depression, and Motivational Interviewing, plus training in EMDR. We'll select an approach based on your concerns, goals, and preferences and regularly evaluate whether treatment is helping.
