David H. Johnson, L.C.S.W. Are you in pain either emotionally or relationally or both? Psychotherapy is a way to stop the suffering and live life more fully both personally and relationally. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and am certified and have training in the following disciplines: Addictions, Hypnotherapy, and Gestalt Therapy. I hold a M.A. degree in Social Work from the University of Chicago. For over 20 years, I have been counseling with individuals, couples, and has a specialty in mixed gender groups. I utilize a holistic approach, emphasizing healing of mind, body, spirit.
My unique style, simply called Self-Acceptance, is applied in the areas of addictions and recovery work, identify issues, life transitions, and spirituality. I also address codependency issues, including self-care and all types of relational issues.
David is a member of the National Association of Social Workers,the National Institute for the Clinical Application of Behavioral Medicine, and the Association for the Advancement of Gestalt Therapists.

Group for Men and women who are ACDF or Adult Children of Dysfunctional Families. Relationships, Identity, feelings and codependency issues will be addressed in an environment that is safe and accepting.People with active chemical dependency should be sober 6 months before being eligible for this type of group.
