Looking for help is never easy. Especially in these stressful times and if you may well be meeting a new therapist on line rather than in person. Still, life problems can reach a crisis point when one knows they need to reach out for help. Whether or not you have been in therapy before, with the right help you can make real, positive changes in your feelings, your behavior and your relationships, bringing more satisfaction and joy into your life.

I offer individual, couples and group psychotherapy for adults. I also provide consultation and coaching for therapists and other self-employed individuals to help them overcome internal impediments to success. I view psychotherapy as a collaborative process which helps people change old, counter-productive behavior patterns, achieving fulfilling lives.

I've been in private practice in Northern Virginia for more than 30 years. Much of my practice focuses on couple/marital issues, including infidelity and other breaches of trust. I also offer consultations with couples and families around divorce/separation or parenting issues and addictions.

This group (4-6 members) is for men who have been unfaithful in their marriage or otherwise broken the trust in their relationship, but who are working to rebuild their partner's trust in them and improve the relationship. This group focuses on feelings of guilt and shame, and on issues of forgiveness, communication and empathy in their relationship.
