My ideal client would be someone who is motivated to make changes in their way of living to increase their quality of life. Maybe they have depression, anxiety, work issues, trouble building and maintaining healthy relationships, or struggle to manage their anger. They have recognized a need for change and are open to therapy. This client would be receptive to evidence based practices and willing to step of their comfort zone when it comes to looking into themselves and their history.
I can help by helping the client identify negative or irrational thoughts. Using CBT and DBT techniques we can reframe thoughts and improve distressing emotions. I can also help the client identify strengths and develop new ways to utilize them.

I work with adults and adolescents who are dealing with issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship issues, and the struggle to have a good balance of work/life. I work holistically with clients and use CBT, DBT, and solution-focused modalities.
