My approach is both collaborative and engaging working 'with' you and not just silently observing. Having worked with a wide range of clients from diverse backgrounds, I've learned to customize my approach to best meet 'your' needs and not force you to fit a predetermined modality.
Currently, I specialize in anxiety, relationships and PTSD. I also have training/experience with career, grief, divorce/separation and stress management. I also have a strong passion for working with current, and returning, military veterans having previously worked in the intelligence field for the U.S. Navy.
I've also been an Adjunct Professor at Lakeland University teaching graduate courses in counseling. I'm also fortunate to be part of a program with Stanford University and the Ukrainian government providing mental health services to those affected by the war in Ukraine. I also enjoy supervising post-graduate interns and am the Owner of Great Lakes Clinic.
