I work with a wide range of clients and find that they become easily engaged in the therapeutic process due to the safe environment and space that is provided. I specialize in Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, Personality Disorders, Psychosis, and Couples Therapy; but my over 15 years experience in counseling has given me a great breadth of knowledge in all areas of mental health.
The more you learn about yourself, the better you'll understand your ups and downs- therapy provides this introspection. I also try to invigorate sessions by challenging the client and, at times, providing some comic relief. I believe that laughter is the best medicine and without it we can easily become 'stuck' in the mundane.
