Relapse Prevention Program Group (Telehealth)
Psychologist & LMHC Co-facilitated. There are two types of members in this group as a part of a Relapse Prevention Program. First, some are recovering from substance use addiction. Second, some don't have a history of substance use addiction-- but they experience the process addiction of Codependency. Both groups are looking for building healthy relationships and effective interpersonal skills with healthy boundaries-- which are often different for work, social friendships, and intimate partners.
Women's Sexual PTSD Recovery Program Group (Telehe
This group is for women who have experienced sexual victimization prior to the age of 23 [before young adult identity formation]. All members need to be in at least 2 times monthly individual therapy with Dr. Moore. This is a trauma-focused treatment process, using non-confronting existential-humanistic psychology. This is a trauma-focused program-- using Prolonged Exposure Narrative Therapy. Many women have a previous history of symptom-focused or EMDR therapy. During group--members are supportive without giving advice or interpreting others' personal history. Occasionally members of the group stay later and engage in peer dialogue.
