About
The most common question I receive is "What kind of counseling do you offer?" There are three ways to answer this question. 1. What kinds of PEOPLE do you serve? My training and experience are ideal for teenagers, men, women, and couples. 2. What kinds of TOPICS do you address? I specialize in "suburban problems" - Anxiety, Depression, Anger, and the problems that flow from these (OCD, addiction, relational conflict, etc.) 3. What kind of counseling STYLES do you offer? I blend the best practices from Biblical Counseling, ACT, CBT, and Goal-centered counseling frameworks. www.nextsteptn.com/kinds-of-counseling
I am passionate about walking alongside motivated clients who want to THRIVE. In a limited number of sessions, clients gain insights, tools, assignments, and encouragement to make positive and lasting changes.
I have spent over 30 years helping teens, adults, and couples THRIVE. It is my greatest joy to facilitate "AH HA" moments for people. If you are looking for a compassionate yet straight-shooting counselor, I'd love to chat with you.
