Ever have times when you question how to handle events in your life, anger, anxiety or depression? Are there times when the way you think or behave causes problems that seem too big to overcome? I work with adolescents and adults to help manage these problems, among others, with the focus on building a healthier quality of life.
I specialize in helping people to manage a wide array of problems including addiction to drugs/alcohol/gambling/other, anger, anxiety, PTSD/trauma, depression, bereavement, those that are transitioning from military service or combat, police/first responders and those who have experienced trauma in human services situations.
I use a strengths based, client centered approach and am trained in a variety of therapy approaches including CBT, DBT and Motivational Interviewing.
