About
Treatment is different with each person. At the heart of my therapeutic approach is careful, thoughtful and non-judgmental listening. It is important that you feel understood and comfortable that we can work together collaboratively. Beginning therapy, people hope to find relief, feel ambivalent, are unsure about their wants and fear the unknown. I view psychotherapy as a two-person process. We will focus on understanding your feelings, struggles and the roots of repetitive life patterns and relationships. This approach will help you to develop individualized ways of decreasing suffering, promoting insight, improving self-esteem and regaining self-control.
As an intuitive professional, I know, understand and appreciate the complexity of our minds. All people have unique personal histories, wants and needs. Psychotherapy aims to relieve unpleasant symptoms and decrease distress, but ultimately foster meaningful lasting change in underlying emotional patterns and capacities, enabling greater happiness, growth and productivity.
I am a Board Certified Psychologist and Psychoanalyst. I earned my Clinical Psychology Doctorate at California School Professional Psychology and trained at University of Miami, School of Medicine. My Medical Staff privileges are at Boca Raton Regional Hospital and I am formerly an Affiliate Assistant Professor at FAU Medical School.
