I offer online therapy for individuals with trauma and attachment-related conditions using a mindfulness-based approach that addresses the body sensations, images, thoughts, emotions and beliefs that can form in the wake of a trauma. For the past 20 years I have helped many persons coming to me after unsuccessful results with standard "talk therapy".
My former 30-year career as an emergency physician coupled with over 10 years of training in the psychological treatment of trauma uniquely qualify me to help trauma survivors recover from ongoing symptoms.
My approach is largely based on the Internal Family Systems "parts" model combined with somatic methods taken from Somatic Experiencing and Sensori-Motor Psychotherapy approaches to trauma.
